|Recommended: YesGreat place — It's quiet, everything is kept up well, the staff is nice and I enjoy living here.
|Recommended: YesBest apartment I’ve lived in — I would HIGHLY recommend Harbor Island. I was sad to move, couldn’t afford the rent increase. I never had an issue with the staff or maintenance. They were always so nice and professional. If you live on the first floor though, you can hear your neighbors on the second floor, the walls seemed to be a little thin, but not too bad. The grounds was pretty kept up. Some issues with people not picking up after their dogs, but that’s an issue everywhere. Overall, I would definitely recommend this place to anyone
|Recommended: YesMud Island is the best location in Memphis. — Great location and property managers and maintenance team are top notch. Mud Island is a great place to live even if its just temporary. Many outdoor activities and the market and coffee shop are very hand to the location. It would be nice to have a convenient gas station on the island.
|Recommended: NoThe complex is OK - the management is lacking. — After I moved in - they changed the rules on payment. The management will no longer accept checks and you must pay online - there is a 50 fee to pay on line

|Recommended: YesA nice place for not much on mud island — I lived at Harbor Island Apartments for 1 year in a 1 bedroom apartment. The apartment was spacious with modern features granite, stainless steel, in unit washer dryer . I never had an issue finding parking, although it was not always next to my building due to the parking lot layout. Some noise with cars driving by, the Hernando de Soto bridge, and when your neighbors are on their deck. Minimal noise when indoors between units. Maintenance was always quick to fix things, even when it turned out my request was stupid. A pretty good deal for the space and location in Memphis.
|Recommended: YesGood Area — Nice safe apartments
|Recommended: YesOverall great apartment complex. — We absolutely love this community however, living in the building closest to the island bridge we hear a lot of cars gun it for no reason other than to be extremely loud. It’s nothing the apartment complex can control though.
|Recommended: YesLocation is fantastic and the staff is friendly and helpful — The location is fantastic with close proximity to the park and downtown. The office staff and maintenance teams are courteous and efficient with addressing requests or issues. Parking can be slightly difficult if you have to work a late shift. Spots are always available but you may have to walk from the other side of the complex late in the evening. The only real downside is the walkways and apartment doors constantly get covered in spider webbing. The staff tries hard to pressure wash them out regularly, but we are on an island next to a river so it is not unexpected. Overall great place to live.
|Recommended: YesBeautiful area perfect location — You will never have a hard time finding a parking spot, perfect location especially if you love walking running by the river, friendly and professional staff.
|Recommended: YesGreat Place to live — Beautiful place to live. Staff is wonderful and very understanding. Very good with maintenance request and helping when needed. Perfect location on the island - away from trees so no bugs. Only complaint is I can hear everything from neighbor above me - every step, conversation, etc.
|Recommended: YesIt's beautiful and inviting at Harbor Island Apts. — Harbor Island Apartments is a homey and inviting place. It's no-so-large complex has amenities that promote community. We have good safety features, 24-hour emergency maintenance that responds to your calls, the utility bills are low, and the layout of our unit is beautiful. If I could change one thing, it would be the thinness of the walls and floors. But the great living is what we love the most here
|Recommended: YesIt was nicer before the dog park was built. — The apartments are nice, but there is noise from the dog park across the street. Some people are out there early in the morning and late at night, after the park is supposed to be closed. It is very annoying hearing barking. If there was any way for the apartment managers to contact the city to prevent people from being in the park when they aren't supposed to, that would be great.
|Recommended: Yes4 - Star Treatment — The staff is excellent The courtesy exhibited was the best I ve experienced on Mud Island. They made what had been a difficult process elsewhere, painless and pleasing. Minus the current construction in progress, the apartments are beautifully designed make you feel secure. It s like finally being home.
